Hadron is an illegal robo that only appears in Custom Robo Arena. It is an Other Style robo that operates autonomously.

Despite it never being stated, it is most similar to a Lightning Sky robo due to it having Sky Dashes.

Story/Origin[]

Hadron was a plan devised by Greybaum to make the ultimate robo. It features a unique combination of autonomous and standard robo designs. Hadron was created from the player's battle data and Liv's mental energy ability.

Hadron is first mentioned during the first visit to NeoBrain inc.'s Labs, where Dennis stumbles upon a memo labeled "Project Hadron" within Kindjal's lab room, but Kindjal soon interferes before Dennis can read any further.

Later in the story, it was powered by Liv and was defeated by the player. After being defeated it kills Scythe and absorbs his power. Hadron then appears to gain a personality of its own with clearly malicious intent. It challenges the Hero to a second fight in which it uses a Soulboost to become invincible. The only option in that fight is to lose and accept defeat. However, Liv is able to absorb the energy from several other characters and transfer it to the Hero. The final battle climaxes with both players in Soulboost mode. After losing the battle, Hadron is presumably destroyed, however its data was somehow discovered by a few hidden ex-Greybaum members and so the Robo reappears during the Grudge matches to which the Hero defeats it once more.

How to obtain[]

Strategy[]

It is notable that Hadron has double charges. It has a charge attack on the ground that brings both itself and the foe into the air, and then knocks the foe back down with its second in-air charge. It might be in your best interest to use the Phantom Legs that come with the Ray Dark set instead of the Hadron Legs to get the extra air dash in. Hadron benefits massively from the extra air dash, and the increased run speed is useful. With Hadron's default gun, the air version of the attack will launch the opponent straight up, similar to the regular knuckle gun, allowing for a follow up bomb or pod strike. It's also important not to underestimate pods like the Amun pod or military ARS P0-7 pod, which can be extremely hard to dodge when fired from Hadron's air dash. Aside from all of that, Hadron stands up almost instantly after being knocked down, and has incredible defense and endurance on top of high mobility along with access to an aerial charge attack that is completely invincible (albeit slow to recover if it doesn't hit). Hadron can be played similarly to a very durable lightning sky model.

Greybaum's greatest creation. Do you think you can take it down?

Gun Wyrm Gun
Bomb Hadron Bomb
Pod Amun Pod
Legs Phantom Legs
The rematch fight during the Grudge matches. Fought on No Man's Land, and will spend the majority of the match far away, airdashing and firing off Amun pods. Try to catch it's landings, because Hadron's airdash has a lot of landing recovery.

Trivia[]

  • Hadron's combat style appears to heavily reference Akuma from the Street Fighter series.
    • The Ground Charge references the Shouryuken.
    • The Air Charge references the Tenmakujinkyaku.
    • When it fires its Hadron Bomb, Hadron does a unique motion much like a Hadouken.
    • The fact that its Hadron Gun is a modified Knuckle Gun could be a reference to Akuma's title as The Supreme Master of the Fist.
  • Hadron is the only Robo to possess two charges.
    • In addition it is the only Robo (barring ones from GX) to have an aerial charge.
  • When Hadron Sky Dashes, he flies around with both arms to its sides as opposed to transforming like other Lightning Sky robos.
  • Hadron's design is based on a golden calf.
    • Its design may also be based on the Minotaur, a creature in Greek mythology said to be "part-bull, part-man", and also the demonic goat-like creature, Baphomet.
  • Hadron's name comes from the composite particle made of quarks held together by a strong force.
  • Like Katana, which was responsible for the death of Liv and Eddy's father, Hadron was responsible for killing Scythe.
    • As such, it gained Scythe's subconscious after it killed him.
